A project entitled "Internship program for MSI undergraduates at LaserNetUS facilities" has been funded by the Department of Energy Fusion Energy Sciences. It is led by LLNL's Dr. Félicie Albert, and involves UC Merced, Florida A&M, and Morehouse College. It is based on LaserNetUS, a network of high-power laser facilities, and is part of DOE's Reaching a New Energy Workforce (RENEW) program.
